This is the same arrival of the 8th stage of the giro d’Italia of 2012. That year the stage was won by Domenico Pozzovivo at his 6th Giro D’Italia. That was his only stage victory at the giro, but he is still there, at his 17th consecutive Giro D’Italia

The stage was won by Aurélien PARET-PEINTRE takes the stage ahead of Andreas LEKNESSUND who takes the pink jersey. Third was Toms Skujiņš.

Well let’s see what happened in lago laceno in 2012. We have 21 years of history and can dig into files. Eternal Glory is for ever, you know it.

in 2012 stage 8, the stage victory went to Annalies Crab’s De Gele Ridder. Annalies went ahead to win the giro by over 200 points on the second Marco Facciano’s Pantani in Binda Astana per tre eh? Coppi.

Annalies is not here this year (my dear dutch colleagues, reach out to her. she cannot miss this)

Today stage was won by Nasly Nissen’s Rodania ….. TA TA TA TAAA . last year his team name was TA TA TA TAAA…. Rodania. A little more fantasy please!!
